My Thoughts on the Atul Case

Title: My Thoughts on the Atul Case

Upon reflection, it seems that the issue is not limited to India but also prevails in Pakistan. This is something I have personally witnessed. I am thankful that the individual in question did not resort to suicide and pray that he never does. May Allah grant him strength to endure and overcome these difficult times.

You might be wondering who I am referring to. I am talking about my brother, who is a doctor. It has been three years since his divorce. In 2024, he finally started meeting his son, with court-allocated visitation rights every 15 days. However, for the past three years, the court has handled our case in a way that feels more like a profit-driven cycle rather than a pursuit of justice.

In Pakistan, the judge changes every two months. Each time, we must explain everything from scratch to the new judge, causing further delays. We are exhausted from paying the lawyer repeatedly, yet no concrete decision has been reached by the court.

After three long years, my brother's ex-wife was finally called to testify, but we have no idea when it will be our turn to present our witnesses.

During these years, I have seen my brother and our family suffer immense tension and depression. This prolonged legal struggle has deeply affected our views on marriage, leaving us with a negative mindset about it, especially for the younger generation.

The core issue here is that the mother alone is not the sole guardian of a child. A father has an equal right to be involved in his child's life. Currently, the law seems unfair, allowing only the mother to retain custody. This biased law has been exploited by my brother's ex-wife, who seems driven by financial motives rather than the child's well-being.

My brother is unable to move forward in life because he deeply cares for his son.

ITS VERY SAD THAT THIS HAPPEN TO ATUL, but i must say this must be end in this
a father have a full right on his son no court should decide that

My humble appeal is for the law to be revised for fairness and balance. What are your thoughts on this matter?
